Hawaiian Burger
Ingredients
Instructions
- ½ cup Iberia Pineapple Nectar
- 1 tbsp Iberia Cane Sugar
- 1 tsp Iberia Lemon Juice
- 1 tsp Iberia Powdered Seasoning
- Iberia Plantain Chips
- 1½ lbs ground beef or turkey
- 4 pineapple rings
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp cornstarch + 1 tbsp water (optional)
- Burger buns
- Lettuce, red onion, and any desired toppings
Make the pineapple glaze
- In a small saucepan, combine Iberia Pineapple Nectar, Iberia Cane Sugar, and Iberia Lemon Juice.
- Simmer until slightly reduced, set aside.
Make the burger patties
- In a bowl, mix ground meat and Iberia Powdered Seasoning. Form into patties.
Grill everything
- Grill patties until cooked through.
- Dip pineapple rings into the pineapple glaze, then grill until lightly charred.
- Toast buns if desired.
Assemble
- Stack burger with bun, lettuce, patty, grilled pineapple, pineapple glaze, red onion slices, and a generous handful of Iberia Plantain Chips.
